You will find our bed & breakfast in the small hamlet of Les Girauderies near the Atlantic coast in the Charente Maritime (department 17), in South-West France, about 40 minutes drive south of Royan. Perfectly located for both leisure or business guests who want to be near the sea, Les Girauderies is only minutes from the main Royan/Bordeaux route nationale (D730) and a short distance from the beautiful Atlantic beaches at Meschers and St George de Didonne. La Rochelle is just over an hour's drive north and Bordeaux a similar distance and driving time to the south. Cognac is 45 km so an easy drive in less than an hour.

How to Find Us

Fly to either Bordeaux, La Rochelle or Poitiers. Train to Royan or Pons (change at Angouleme).
Driving from the North, exit A10 autoroute at junction 36 (Pons/Jonsac/Gemozac) heading to Gemozac on D732 then follow signs to Mortage-sur-Gironde. This is our nearby harbour port. At the Boutenac-Touvent roundabout - approx 5km from Gemozac, turn left onto the D730 signed Bordeaux. This takes you through the small village of Brie-Sur-Gironde, then follow your satnav for about 4km to Les Gerauderies via the hamlet of Fiolle.

Driving from the South, exit A10 autoroute at junction 37 (Royan/Jonzac/Pons) turning left to take the D730 signed Royan for 20km - about 15 minutes drive. After passing the roundabout with a large snail in the middle, continue for another 3km then turn right at the "EHPAD" (care-home) sign just before the village of Brie-sur-Mortagne. Then follow your satnav to Les Girauderies via the hamlet of Fiolle.
